    What to Expect From a 30-Minute Coaching Session

    A JobLadda coaching session is not a generic "let me look at your CV and tell you what to fix" call. It is a structured 30-minute conversation built around your specific situation, with a clear outcome and a written follow-up. Before the call you complete a short five-question survey covering where you are in your career, what you want from the next 12 months, your biggest blocker, and any constraints (location, salary floor, family responsibilities, visa status). The coach reads this before the call so the first ten minutes are not wasted on basic context.

    On the call we focus on the single highest-leverage problem you have right now. For most graduates that is target role clarity, the difference between applying for "marketing roles" and applying for "B2B SaaS demand generation roles at series A startups". For mid-career professionals it is usually positioning for a switch, how to frame seven years of operations experience for a product manager role without sounding like a stretch. For senior managers it is most often interview craft, specifically the executive-level behavioural questions that decide whether you get an offer or a polite rejection after a strong technical round.

    Every session ends with a one-page written plan emailed to you within 24 hours. The plan covers three things: the highest-leverage action you should take in the next seven days, the metric you should track to know whether it is working, and the next decision point. You can book a follow-up session whenever you want, but most users do not need to come back for at least three to four weeks because the actions are concrete and take that long to play out.

    Do I pay every time I book?

    Yes. Each session requires a fresh 50-unit deduction. This keeps coach time fair and gives you a fresh booking link each time.

    How is the call delivered?

    After payment you receive a single-use connect link to coordinate scheduling and the call format with your coach. Available worldwide.

    Can I reuse my booking link for another session?

    No. Each booking link is single-use and expires after 24 hours. Book again to get a new link.

    What if I don't have enough units?

    You will be redirected to top up via secure payment. Once topped up, you can complete your booking immediately.

    Can I get a refund?

    Units already deducted for a generated booking link are non-refundable. If you face a technical issue, contact us at myjobladda@gmail.com.
